The health and safety of any project that we undertake is of paramount importance to every party involved in the delivery. We take this responsibility very seriously and would rank this element of our work as more important than commercial considerations. To ensure this happens throughout the work schedules our project managers have accountability for working within the required health and safety legislative practices and guidelines. We build checkpoints into our project plans to ensure the safety of our fitters, your staff and the general public at all times. Timely site visits are made not only to ensure that work is progressing but also to carry out health and safety checks. This work is not done in isolation but rather we encourage two-way communications to share best practice as well as take onboard feedback. Before we deploy a project manager they will have received training on our health and safety policy and procedures. Follow-up briefings are carried out to ensure they remain up to date and fully abreast of any legislative changes. All our work is carried out to the required guidelines as set out under the Health & Safety at Work Act of 1974 and Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM). |
